DESCRIPTION

You say "Chi-poll-tee", I say "Chip-Polt-lay." No matter how you want to pronounce it "Did Someone Say Chipotle," is supposed to rhyme. This USDA Organic spice blend is packed full of freshly ground Chipotle chilies (Smoked and dried Jalapenos peppers) and contains NO filler or by-products., no GMO or partially genetically engineered ingredients like some of the more popular brands.  Use this seasoning for making tasty fajitas or for a more robust taco as it is spicier than our Rock Yo' Taco Seasoning. Generously add to your fajita ingredients along with (1-2 tablespoons) of olive oil to create a savory and spicy marinade prior to saute.  For tacos just brown your meat of choice and add 1/2 cup of water and 5 teaspoons of seasoning to each pound of meat and simmer until thickened.  For tacos use with ground beef, chicken, turkey or shrimp.  Sprinkle the spice on canned chicken or store bought rotisserie chicken for super quick and easy nachos.  Boil a whole chicken and add 5 teaspoons per pound of meat to create sensational Tex-Mex shredded chicken for tacos, burritos, nachos, etc. 

Yet another application is favorite in our house, it's Chipotle Honey Lime Wings (pictured), start by boiling the wings in the seasoning, add more Chipotle seasoning along with honey and grill, finish with a squeeze of lime juice.

    Perfect for adding a kick!

    I'm absolutely hooked on "Did Someone Say Chipotle" seasoning! Whether you pronounce it "Chi-poll-tee" or "Chip-Polt-lay," the rhyme is just the beginning of its charm. It's spicier than other brands but oh-so-delicious. I love generously sprinkling it on my eggs for a flavorful breakfast or adding it to my chicken dishes for an extra punch.

    Flexible spice mix

    Excellent seasoning mix for any recipe calling for Taco/Mexican/Fajita seasoning. Tasty blend of Mexican spices, not overly salty. This seasoning is Kosher, Certified organic, gluten free and GMO free, and manufactured in the US. I prefer this to envelopes of spices as I can More easily use the amount I choose.

    Yummmm what an amazing spice blend!

    This is fantastic. I love the ingredients in here (it has fun things like cocoa and paprika) and is great for seasoning meat. We used it on seitan today and plan on cooking up some beans with it for tacos.

    Loved This Fajita Spice

    I wanted to try this but did not have meat for fajitas so I sprinkled some on a pork chop and I have to say it had a restaurant quality fajita flavor. It tasted great on my pork chops and I can't wait to use it on some chicken, beef, or shrimp with some veggies to make a nice fajita stir fry.The flavor was great. It was not super spicey or hot. I think it's very much like restaurant fajitas, and any extra heat you want would come from the peppers you add to the dish.I have never been one to make fajitas at home but that will change and I am sure I will buy this again. It comes in a nice shaker bottle. It does seem a little pricey but am hoping I can find it in a refill package so I do not have to spend almost $9 to replace this small bottle of seasoning.Thanks for reading my reviewBecky Brooks
