Why are the French so thin? Some say it's because they take their sweet time eating and they walk a lot. Crêpes, a popular French delicacy, are super easy to make in the pan, but if you want to take it to the next level and have some quality time with the fam at the breakfast table, get a crepe maker. Enjoy a family breakfast while watching and smelling new crepes being baked right in front of you and all the different toppings spread out on the table. The wait for your next thin French pancake is spent plotting the next toppings combination you'd like to try next.
What are the most popular toppings for French Crepes?
There are so many combinations of sweet toppings alone, that it's impossible to list all of them here. But Nutella is definitely a favorite across the globe. Other very popular crepes toppings are just cinnamon and sugar or your favorite fruity jam. Two personal favorites of mine are crepes with some whipped cream, fresh berries and garnished with Sugar Momma. The other is a combination of almond butter, Nutella and sliced bananas. What is yours?

This is a breakfast delight from the heavens! Enjoy French Crepes with a gazillion different flavor combinations. Some like it with Nutella, some with fresh berries and whipped cream and others just use Flavor Seed's organic Sugar Momma cinnamon sugar dessert spice on them. There are even rumors of people who do all at once!
Combine eggs, Sugar Momma, salt, vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
Melt butter in microwave and add to batter.
Add flour and milk and mix together until everything is combined
Heat crepes maker or skillet on medium and pour 3-4 tablespoons into the center. Twirl the pan or use a spreader for the crepes maker to thin them out.
Cook for 1-2 minutes and flip. The other side needs a little less cooking time.
Remove from pan or crepes maker and serve warm.
Fill the crepes with your choice of berries, Nutella, peanut butter, melted chocolate, sliced banana, jam, nuts, whipped cream or whatever you feel like. You can also dial back on sugar and create savory crepes with bacon, ham, etc. There are hundreds of combinations, both sweet and savory. Be creative and Bon Appetit!

Recipe Note
50g (of the 250g total) of All-Purpose Flour can be substituted with 50g of either Coconut or Almond Flour. That makes the crepes a little bit healthier without compromising the necessary structure of the batter.
You can be as generous as you want with Sugar Momma. I personally like to use less for the batter and then add sweetness to the finished crepe in form of whipped cream, berries and some Sugar Momma as a garnish.
